A DAY IN MY LIFE AND HOW ICT AFFECT MY LIFE! ‧₊˚๐️✩ ₊˚
A day in my life starts with the morning sun shining into my room. After waking up, I start the day with a cup of coffee and think about challenging tasks. As I go about my daily routine, I find happiness in simple moments, such as the smile of a friend or the opportunity to help others.
On a daily basis, I integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in various aspects of my life. Early in the morning, I use my smartphone to plan my day, check the news, and check emails. During work, computers and specialized software help me complete tasks efficiently.
The use of ICT also affects the way I communicate and socialize. I connect with friends and family through text messaging, video calls and social media. This expands the reach of my social relationships, despite being separated by geographical distance.
However, the effects of ICT are not only positive. Reliance on technology also brings challenges such as social media addiction and lack of face-to-face interaction. While it makes life easier, we need to understand its limits so as not to lose the balance between the digital world and real life.
ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has a significant influence on modern life. This affects the way we work, learn, communicate, and even carry out daily activities.
Specifically from an educational perspective, the use of ICT can be considered good or bad depending on its implementation.
If implemented well, ICT can provide the following benefits:
- Wider access to information and learning resources.
- Allows distance or online learning, which provides flexibility to students.
- Increase student engagement through the use of interactive media and interesting learning tools.
However, if not managed properly, ICT can have negative impacts such as:
- Creates inequality of access, where not all students have the same access to technology.
- Potential disruption to the learning process if technical problems occur or excessive dependence on technology.
To increase the optimization of the use of ICT in education, several suggestions can be implemented:
- Ensure equal access to technology for all students and teachers.
- Train teachers intensively in the use of technology for effective learning.
- Develop a curriculum that effectively integrates ICT in every aspect of learning.
- Ensure continuity of technological infrastructure and adequate technical support.
- Regularly monitor the impact of ICT use on student learning outcomes for continuous improvement.
