Chapter 5

 First day at vocational school

Date: 26, July 2021

Today is my first day of entering vocational school. I felt a mix of nervous and excited. This morning, I woke up earlier than usual to prepare myself well. I make sure to shower, have a good breakfast, and make sure all my school supplies are ready.

When I arrived at school, the atmosphere was lively with the noisy voices of students mingling in the corridors. I felt a little overwhelmed by the many new faces and unfamiliar surroundings, but I tried to stay calm and open to this new experience.

The first time I entered the classroom, I was greeted by the teacher and my classmates. They were very friendly and helped me feel more comfortable. Our teachers introduced themselves and gave explanations about the subjects we would study during the year. I am very excited to start this new learning journey.

During the break, I tried to get to know some of my classmates. We talked about our interests and hobbies, and shared stories about previous schools. I am happy to know that we have the same interests and hope to build a good friendship with them.

During class, I try to focus and follow along well. Even though there is some material that feels new and difficult, I try to stay enthusiastic and ask questions if there is something I don't understand. I believe that with hard work and dedication, I will be able to overcome this challenge.

When I came home, I felt tired but also satisfied with my first day at vocational school. I realize that this journey will be full of new challenges and opportunities. I promised myself to stay enthusiastic, study hard, and maintain a positive spirit throughout this year.

The next day, I returned to school with the same enthusiasm. I started to feel more comfortable with the school environment and started to get to know more of my classmates. We help and support each other in learning.

During my first week at SMK, I was involved in various extracurricular activities. I also attended orientation meetings to learn more about the school's facilities and programs.

I started to feel the pressure of my first assignments and exams in vocational school. However, I did not give up and continued to study diligently. I use my free time to read and look for additional learning resources.

Currently, I feel more confident and accustomed to the school routine. I have formed close friendships with my classmates and feel happy to study with them. I hope to continue to grow and develop at this vocational school.

  During a pilgrimage to Cirebon to the Tomb of Sunan Gunung Jati Date: 23, October 2022 I arrived in Cirebon feeling enthusiastic and full of hope. After a long journey, I finally arrived at the Sunan Gunung Jati tomb complex. I was mesmerized by the architectural beauty of the building and the serene atmosphere surrounding it.  I was happy when I was accepted at the IKIP Siliwangi university campus with the study program I wanted Date: 11, August 2023 When I opened the acceptance letter from IKIP Siliwangi University, my heart was beating fast.
