Chapter 11

 

Farewell Vocational High School (SMK)

Date: 19, July 2023

Today is a day full of mixed feelings because I have to face separation from vocational high school (SMK) which has been an important part of my life so far. It feels like just yesterday we started this journey, but now it's time to say goodbye.

This morning, the atmosphere at school felt different. There was joy and cheer, but there was also sadness in the air. We gathered in the school hall, wearing the uniforms that had become our identity for the last three years. We hugged each other, laughed, and cried, realizing that this journey would soon be over.

We remember all the beautiful moments we have spent together. From challenging lessons to collaborative projects that strengthen our bonds. We have grown together as a school family, supporting and inspiring each other.

As we walked through the halls of the school that had become a second home to us, we saw walls filled with memories. Posters, photos and writings depicting our journey. Every corner of this school holds an unforgettable story.

In class, we sit with our teachers who have given us valuable knowledge and experience. They are the pillars that have guided us all this time. We thank them for their dedication and our promise to honor the lessons they have taught.

When the farewell ceremony began, our hearts were pounding. We stood on the stage, wearing our graduation gowns and caps. We received certificates and awards for our achievements so far. However, behind the smile and happiness, there is a feeling of sadness that is difficult to express.

We talked to each other, promising to stay connected and follow our respective dreams. We know that this separation is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. We are ready to face the challenges and live the journey that lies ahead.

At the end of the day, I sat alone in an empty classroom. The atmosphere is quiet and quiet. I reflect on all the memories we have created at this school. Even though this separation is painful, I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grow at this vocational school.

Now, it's time to move forward. We leave school armed with the knowledge and skills we have acquired. We are ready to face the real world and make our dreams come true. Even though this farewell is bitter, we will always remember and cherish the good times at SMK.

Thank you SMK, thank you friends, thank you teachers. This separation may be difficult, but the memories and experiences we gained will shine in our hearts forever. See you soon, SMK!

  During a pilgrimage to Cirebon to the Tomb of Sunan Gunung Jati Date: 23, October 2022 I arrived in Cirebon feeling enthusiastic and full of hope.  I was happy when I was accepted at the IKIP Siliwangi university campus with the study program I wanted Date: 11, August 2023 When I opened the acceptance letter from IKIP Siliwangi University, my heart was beating fast.
